Golfer Of The Year 2024

The Golfer Of The Year award is presented to the Golfer with the highest accumulated stableford points achieved from their best 4 events out of 6, which must include the Captains Day, as award will be presented on the same night. An updated leaderboard will be posted below after each event.

Matchplay Championship

The Matchplay Championship event is a 2 man team event. A draw will take place to form teams in which a high handicap player will be drawn to play with a low handicap player. When teams are organised, a knockout draw will take place where each winning team will advance towards the next round with the aim to reaching the final. When matches are drawn, 1st team drawn can decide to play either Ardee or Headfort with the date and time agreed within a 2 week timeframe.

Ryder Cup

The Ryder Cup Team v Ardee will be selected based on the top 10 players in the Golfer of the Year competition. The other remaining players will be chosen by Captains Pick. The Ryder Cup Team v Kingscourt will be selected firstly from those who were outside of the top 10 and thereafter on availability.
